If it's only 2lbs and 13 oz it can't be made out of real steel to have a 35.25" blade.

Over all though it's a nice blade very unique yet classy, well done.

5160 high carbon spring steel, tempered in machines that temper aircraft parts. Believe me..it's real.
And made by one of the premier sword makers in the USA. Angus Trim.
Swords dont have to be big and clunky to be completely functional.
...and better made than 90% of ALL other blades out there.

Tried and true armory...look it up.

Interesting, I didn't think the states still made high quality blades such as that. It's a rare find and very interesting. About how much would a simmilar one cost??

The sword itself around $450.00 US ( hand made grip, no scabbard)
The leatherwork, re-wrapping the grip, scabbard and engraving of the blade around $700.00

It was a gift from a group of friends and the maker to celebrate my 1st year sober.

To me it's priceless.

If I'm ever homeless and walking the streets it will be done so with the sword strapped to my back.

That's a fair price I think personally, and hey grats on staying Sober, I don't think I'll ever start drinking, I had an absuive drunk for a father.

I don't ever plan to start. With an abusive drunk for a father it turns you off of it really quickly. I've had a few drinks, I had one or two at my older sisters wedding, mostly because she insisted. And when she took me out for my 19th I had a drink.

Those are the only times though, I don't plan on starting drinking more anytime soon.
